Hot Photography is a Shopify mockup made with a modified version of the Debut theme. My goal here was to showcase my Shopify skills, and I also took the opportunity to showcase some of my photography! For this project,
- I chose font, color & image palettes for the site;
- I added a new footer block called Image which adds a circular/oval-shaped image,
- great in combo with the Text block to make a bio,
- or on its own as visual punctuation at page end;
- and I added a text-align selector to Text for better pairing options with Image.
Both additions are integrated with the Shopify customization menu, so that a client could update their site easily without touching any code.
I was able to create this project thanks to Shopify’s 14-day free trial. Since its expiry, I’ve transferred Hot Photography to a Shopify Developer account. You can see Hot Photography in action here with the password lantern.
